Protoje, Dub Inc, Skarra Mucci and Omega Nebula – new additions to the Uprising 2026 lineup
Preparations for the 19th Uprising festival are in full swing and fans can already look forward to a good dose of great music. After the gypsy-punk whirlwind of Gogol Bordello and drum&bass legend Andy C, it’s time for pure reggae and dub. The Jamaican elite Protoje, the French sensation Dub Inc and the unstoppable hitmaker Skarra Mucci are heading to Bratislava’s Zlaté Piesky. If you don’t have tickets yet, don’t miss them, they’re on sale now until March 18th!
The main star of the new wave of names is the Jamaican visionary and king of modern reggae Protoje. Don’t just expect classic reggae – you’ll find hip-hop, soul, R&B and dub in his music, making him one of the most progressive artists of our time. As the heart of the Reggae Revival movement, he defined a new era of Jamaican music. With his phenomenal band The InDiggNation, with which he toured stages from Coachella to Glastonbury, he will bring to Bratislava not only his most striking hits such as “Who Knows” or “Rasta Love”, but also fresh energy from his new album, which is released in April!
From France, audience favorites and unofficial ambassadors of the genre – Dub Inc, who also have a fresh new album called “Atlas” on their account, are returning to Slovakia. The Saint-Etienne band mixes reggae, dancehall and world music with great passion and talent at the world’s biggest festivals. Whether they sing in French, English or the Algerian Kabyle language, they spread an important message about connecting cultures and races. A Dub Inc concert is an experience you must experience live!
Earthquakes are becoming more and more common in Slovakia, but we can prepare you for this in advance! One of the most interesting collaborations on the scene is heading to Uprising Festival 2026. Skarra Mucci, the Jamaican “Dancehall President”, and Manudigital, the multi-talented French producer, have joined forces for their exclusive Ragga Blasta Tour. From their proven hits to fresh tracks from their new joint EP – this tandem will bring a fresh mix of reggae, dancehall, dub, hip-hop and a good dose of bass music.
Soundsystem scene with legends and new wave
The British soundsystem scene will also be represented at Uprising by the leading formation Vibronics, who have been bringing fresh wind to the dub waters for over 30 years. They will perform together with singer Nia Songbird. After last year’s phenomenal success, the duo Omega Nebula is also returning to Zlaté Piesky. Their performance was one of the biggest surprises of last year, where they captivated the crowd with their unique fusion of heavy bass, dub and live instruments. Their return promises an even more intense audiovisual show.
Another highlight will be the performance of the Polish legend Dreadsquad, celebrating 25 years on stage, who will perform their Live Dub Mix together with the Spanish MC Lasai.
