Eminem’s Idol at Zlaté Piesky: Masta Ace & Marco Polo
One of the main hip-hop events will be the performance of Masta Ace, a member of the cult Juice Crew, who has been on the scene since the late 1980s.
He is known for his precise technique, rhythm and storytelling, which has influenced entire generations of rappers. He is often referred to as the “rapper’s rapper” and his big fans include Eminem, who has repeatedly called him one of his role models and his album SlaughtaHouse his greatest inspiration. Masta Ace’s most famous tracks include classics like Born to Roll, Sittin’ on Chrome and Beautiful.
Along with Masta Ace, Uprising will also feature Marco Polo, a respected Canadian producer and DJ currently based in Brooklyn and one of the most respected names in the boom-bap scene. His hard beats, distinctive sample sound and authentic New York vibe bring a new breath of fresh air to the classic rap sound.
Strong domestic hip-hop lineup
In addition to foreign legends, Uprising 2026 can also boast a significant domestic selection.
The main attraction of the domestic hip-hop scene will be Gleb, one of the most prominent and sought-after rappers of today.
Also returning to the festival are A.M.O., who have a long history with Uprising. They will present their new releases and will come to Zlaté piesky with a proven lineup – two MCs, a DJ and a drummer.
The home lineup will also be completed by Karlo, a distinctive rapper and co-founder of the Milion+ label, known for his authentic expression and unique self-ironic style drawing from his own life experiences.
The contrast in the hip-hop lineup will be provided by Fobia Kid, a dark, provocative and futuristic performer who will present material from the new album Evangelion.
Another confirmed name is Ley Lofaj, a rapper and beatmaker from Orava who combines rap with elements of folklore, pop and electronic music. Temný Rudo, known for his dystopian aesthetics and underground sound, will also bring an alternative perspective to rap.
Laris Diam, a successful Slovak singer, composer and lyricist who excels in the R&B and soul genres, will also perform.
From the Czech Republic, Sawsane, a native of Karlovy Vary, will arrive, mixing modern sound with old school and will come to Uprising with a complete show, including dancers, a DJ and a hypergirl.
