Derrick Morgan

Derrick Morgan, true ska & rocksteady icon, is coming for the first time to Slovakia. 78-years old artist celebrated 60 active years in music scene and despite of being blind for more than 30 years, he is well-known for his amazing performance and releasing tracks for the contemporary reggae musicians under his own label.

Derrick became a star in Jamaica and Britain in 60’s when he became the first musician to fill first seven positions of Jamaican pop chart with the songs suchs as“Don”t Call Me Daddy”, “Be Still”, “In My Heart”, “Housewives’ Choice”. 

Derrick Morgan will perform with The Skatalites on Friday, August 24th at 9:30 pm (Main Stage).
