DJ Ned

DJ Ned is a DJ and Artist from Kenya, he has been Deejaying and performing for close to 15 years specialising in reggae, dancehall, hiphop and African rhythms.

Coming from an impoverished background; DJ Ned taught himself how to play and learnt to make do with whatever equipment was available at the time; including deejaying using cassettes and playstation controllers.. Nowadays he prefers turntables however his motto is: anything that gets the vibes to the people is a good thing.

Currently living in Slovakia he plays at many of the clubs in Bratislava bringing his exclusive style of party rocking with a dancehall twist to the city.

Greatly inspired by DJ’s such as Jazzy Jeff and Federation Sounds, you can expect lots of heavy riddims with some African hits and hip hop elements like scratching thrown in to spice up the set!
