The Orb

Ambient house pioneers, cult group The Orb from England, are celebrating 35 years since their formation and recently released their 18th studio album – Prism. A significant milestone for the group was the re-collaboration with David Gilmour from Pink Floyd, and they are also known for remixing hits such as ‘Higher Than The Sun’ from Primal Scream, or collaboration with reggae legend Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry. Alex Paterson, the founder of The Orb, is still active as a DJ all over the world, and this summer you will be able to enjoy his ambient set for the first time at the end of the Saturday Arena stage program.
