Karlo, also known as Gumbgu, is known for his very direct, ironic lyrics and the unique atmosphere of his tracks. His experiences with prison, isolation, and loss of freedom have been transformed into music, and his latest work serves in many ways as a confession, therapy, and an ironic commentary on his own story.
