This is the moment we have been waiting for for many years. We are very proud to announce that the legendary Cuban band ORISHAS is coming to Uprising 2026! The two-time Latin Grammy winners will present themselves to fans in an exclusive Slovak premiere.
Songs like “Represent”, “537 C.U.B.A.”, “A Lo Cubano” or “Atrevido” have become anthems for several generations. To this day, they are among the most iconic tracks of the Latin urban scene and have also resonated in the film world – they were heard in the soundtracks of films such as Fast and the Furious or Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights.
Orishas is one of the groups that fundamentally shaped modern Latin American music. They brought Latin urban music to the global stage and opened the door to an entire generation of today’s performers. Their sound is based on a unique combination of Cuban music, hip-hop and Afro-Cuban rhythms. Their status is also evidenced by the fact that the prestigious Rolling Stone magazine has repeatedly ranked them among the most important bands in the world.
They will arrive at Zlaté Piesky in full force with a live band and a captivating show that will bring an authentic Cuban message combined with hip-hop. Bratislava will thus experience one of the most distinctive Latin concerts of recent decades.
